Juan is the co-founder and CEO of High Trend International.
Juan is an experienced international executive. He has a long successful record at C-Level in the complex and highly competitive telecom business for more than 24 years, in Europe and Latin America, including: Spain, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.
Juan’s prior experience includes roles as CEO of Telefonica Business Solutions,
Vice President of Resources for Telefonica Brazil and CEO of Wireline Operations LATAM for Telefonica
Carlos Sanchez
CEO (High Trend Brazil)
Carlos leads High Trend International's Brazilian joint-venture High Trend Brazil (HTB). Mr. Sanchez has more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer and executive in the construction and infrastructure sector. Carlos has advised large construction companies in complex infrastructure projects in three continents.
Since 2012, he has been focused on the PPP and infrastructure concessions sectors in Brazil, having helped to develop the public lighting sector as it exists today.
Jeff Carmichael
President
Jeff is the Co-Founder and President of High Trend International.
Mr. Carmichael has spent his career building businesses across continents and cultures. Most recently he formed Tower Management Group LLC a real estate investment and development company in Puerto Rico of which he serves as CEO.
He began his career as a CPA with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic planning for privately held businesses.
He is a long-time member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee, of The Bair Foundation.
Jimmy Taylor
CFO
Jimmy serves as the CFO of High Trend International and helped to found the company.
Before helping to form High Trend, Jimmy worked with the structuring and originations team at Preston Hollow Capital (PHC), a merchant bank focused on complex and bespoke financings for PPPs and infrastructure projects.
Jimmy began his career in investment banking serving as an advisor to municipalities and public entities focused on debt issuances for infrastructure projects.
Yan Herreras
Vice President (HTB)
Yan has spent his entire career working in the public-private sector. His experience includes the development and structuring of energy and PPP projects in Brazil and other Latin American countries.
Over the past 5 years, Yan has specialized in the privatization of the public lighting sector in Brazil. He has worked with dozens of municipalities and development institutions, including the World Bank, to create well-structured and forward looking PPPs to allow for the development of smart city technology, alongside the privatization of municipal lighting systems.
Daniel Pedao
Vice President of Operations
Daniel serves as the Vice President of Operations of High Trend International, focusing on the technical aspects of the public lighting and telecom efforts.
Daniel has 20 years of experience in various technical and executive positions in large technology and telecom companies such as Nokia, Ericsson and Telefonica.
Daniel's prior experience includes roles as Systems Director in Telefonica Argentina and the Director of Development in Telefonica Processes and Information Technology.
